Founded in 1957 by renowned cartoonist K. Shankar Pillai at Nehru House in New Delhi, the Children’s Book Trust (CBT) is India's pioneer publisher dedicated to creating high-quality, beautifully illustrated, and wholesome literature for young minds.
Beyond publishing, the Trust actively promotes creative talent through the annual Competition for Writers of Children’s Books, the monthly Children’s World magazine, and the Dr. B.C. Roy Memorial Children’s Reading Room and Library.
